Giovanni da Verrazzano

Today  at school during History, our class learned about a man named Giovanni da Verrazzano, and how he wrote a letter to the king of France on his voyage to Cape Fear, N.C. Once Giovanni and his crew got to land, they were greeted by natives and he wrote to the king how the natives gazed up at him as though he was a god, though they did not know that Giovanni was a bad man.
