Today jalons aunt Alexis came and shared some poems with us and we shared poems with her. We also figured out how tall our lighthouses would be.

Today we found out that we are learning and building Lighthouses. First we read a packet with information about Lighthouses and the places like the widow deck on a Lighthouse and what they do. We had to think about which Lighthouse we wanted to study about and in the afternoon we got to pick the Lighthouse lottery! (they had to be in NC and three people doing each Lighthouse.) In math we played basketball in a trash bin and recorded  there shots they made out of the number they rolled. 

 #1 shabazz dinent come back today, wich for me is good since I hate writing, we stared our african american poems today, based on a pucture of coice african american. besides that today was pretty normal. #2 man  well frankly I think hil raily miss you.  i do miss him tho.

Today Shabazz came. We did workshop 4 at the end of workshop four we each got graded on a poem we read and wrote.Tomorrow we will have a party at workshop five. After workshop chorus went to chorus .And at art most of us finished up on past work. And ended by reading Storm Warriors.     

Today we played with magnets and magnetic viewers. We also learned a new type of poem called a blackout poem. in math 
rated types of math to see how much knew. in art we finished up chalk pastel abstract art.
