we had a good time at pea island.but wer happy to be back in Durham stil tierd. 

We got to do dodge ball on a Wednesday. Since we are having our trip tomorrow, we had music and art today. We finished our shoes in art, also we put our feet in our pickle people. Sonjae and Nora over and out!!!!!!!!

 

we got to work on our pickle people with meg today!!! when we did bird watching we saw 40 chimney swifts in a flock. for history for Pea Island, we learned about greatest boat save of the Mirlo steam ship carrying gas.

Today we read about Pea Island and learned a lot. today we had media and we are making pickle people.
In birds we learned about waterfowl and the most common bird on Pea Island. 

Today the battle of the books team had their competition so we had a sub. at twelve forty five the battle of the books team came back and we found out that they won and that they are going to the regionals.

Today we checked out Bird Cam again. We could see the little owlets being fed by their mother, it was kinda weird because they were eating a dead squirrel. That was interesting and disgusting. So  that happend... well we thought it was very interesting though. Otherwise it was a nice day.

In class today we each got a bird book to get research about our bird that we chose. Then we wrote good facts that we found in the books. The reason that we were getting facts was because  we needed them for our writing.  

We chose our birds today! Pretty sure everyone got what they wanted. apparantly, the purple miscito eater, is not purple! seresly, where are our goverments prioritys? 

finishing up our cardbourd shoes in art. saw a lot of birds outside. mainly sparrows. no chidedees for the first time. first chimny swift. ( :
