in media we looked to see if there were clues for non-fiction books. Today Aaron showed us a new type of poem called a apology poem. we started to write our own apology poems. Aaron also taught us partial quotient in math. in book clubs we started drawing a picture from our books.     

in writing we finished and started concrete poems. in our story Aaron put people that had detached earlobes on the bad list and the people that have attached earlobes on the good list. he had a hard time putting sonjae on the list because his hair was covering his ears (he put sonjae on both).    

Today in art we worked on coming up with abstract art ideas, using only 2 shapes! I was tempted to use other shapes, but sadly I couldn't. And in art we saw some pictures of artists that didn't do abstract art.

 The first day back was really exciting in writing we read Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s I have a dream speech, we read the final half of his speech. Everyone got a part of the speech to memorise, some people had longer parts which were harder to memorise. Martin Luther King was a preacher at a black church in Georgia, he had a good voice for being a preacher, it was booming!
